20th November 2007 - Otway Backs Campaign

Aylesbury’s very own rock legend John Otway is the latest celebrity to get behind the 'Bring the Ducks Home' campaign.

John was only too pleased to be photographed wearing the campaign T-Shirt and Baseball cap.

The pictures were taken in the courtyard of the 'Kings Head' in Market Square as he prepared for his latest civic centre concert, back in his home town.

Although he confessed that he was not a football mad fan, he was very interested in the Club’s current plight, he was aware of the condition of our old ground, having seen the clips on Bucks TV.

As he no longer lives locally, he has noticed the rapid expansion of the town, and admitted that the Football Club should be back where it belongs within the local community. He has pledged to help the campaign in anyway he can, and has agreed to write a song on the 'B Side' of the new 'Club Anthem' single currently being written by Jam Central Records.
