Stevenage Appoint Another Ex Duck

Interesting to see that Stevenage have appointed former Duck Gary Smith as their new manager
Following on the heels of another former United player Graham Westley of course
As I remember Smith was a solid but not spectacular midfielder but seems to have a good coaching record
Paul Fairclough is a third former Stevenage boss with an Aylesbury connection of course although one and a half hours in the hotseat is not much of a connection!

His assistant will be Mark Newson, didn't he play for us too?

The Herald gave the 3 ex ducks a mention. There is actually 4 though, Chris Day played for us on loan a few years ago and was in goal for them against Spurs.
