After taking their total unbeaten run in all competitions to three games with a 0-0 draw away to Midland Division Gloucester in the Southern League Cup Quarter Final 1st leg in midweek, Leo Markham's side stretched their winless home run in all competitions to three games with this defeat by Dover in front of Turnfurlong Lane's lowest crowd of the season so far.

What proved to be the only goal came in just the 2nd minute when Terry Jolley sped past Kevin Tilley down the left before sending over a great cross, Ducks keeper Keith Baker stayed rooted to his line and Bernie Godzik was left with a simple tap in from close range.

The visitors bricked up their goal after that and were content to play the offside trap for the remaining 88 minutes of what must surely rank as one of the worst and most boring games ever seen at Turnfurlong Lane.
