After a last minute winner in front of 2400 at home to Worcester City, United travelled to Alvechurch knowing that victory would all but seal promotion to the Conference. Despite the best efforts of the travelling supporters Aylesbury were very nervous and crashed to a second half strike. A week later a similar fate befell the mighty Ducks, but draws at Cambridge City and VS Rugby finally gave the Greens the Southern League Championship. |
