Harrow Borough were there for the taking in this match, but two missed chances denied Aylesbury the three points as their attack had another off-day.

Apart from an Endersby effort, United took control and twice had stupendous openings. After 75 minutes Carl Hoddle lobbed over the defence to Robert Sharpe who beat the offside trap, but with only Scrivens to beat Sharpe's volley lacked power and the keeper collected.
Ten minutes from time Kevin Davies got the better of Bob Dowie and, having gone into the area, Dabber lost control and the ball rolled out of play with an open goal begging.
