Report & Teams
United achieved their biggest ever Isthmian League victory by easily overcoming a somewhat hapless Whyteleafe side at Buckingham Road.
The scoring began on 9 minutes when Chris Bangura rounded Leafe keeper Danny Rose to score. 12 minutes later it was two as Steve Clark latched onto a Chris Boothe free-kick to score with a looping header.
On 37 minutes two became three when Clark scored with a superb diving header following an equally superb cross by Peter Risley.
A minute into the second half Rob Paris hit the bar with a header before Chris Bangura scored his second goal of the afternoon on 48 minutes with a cool far post finish.
Four minutes later Bangura secured his first Aylesbury hat-trick by rounding Rose to score, a goal which signalled that the fllodgates had well and truly opened.
Enzo Silvestri scored goal number six on the hour before Greg Williams added a seventh on 73 minutes. Danny Rose was unfortunate not to hold on to a corner and dropped the ball invitingly at Greg's feet for him to score.
Stuart Maynard completed the rout just before the final whistle by coolly heading home a Dwain Clarke cross.
