Once again the Ducks threw away a two goal lead and had to settle for a point against a hard working Dulwich Hamlet side who obviously still harboured memories of Aylesbury robbing them of three points in the corresponding fixture at Champion Hill back in December. The Ducks took the lead on three minutes when Dulwich keeper James Mercer saved a Chris Bangura shot only to see the ball fall to Enzo Silvestri who chipped the ball in from just outside the box. It was two nine minutes later when Ollie Stanbridge tapped home a Roni Joe cross and it looked as if a repeat of the 8-0 demolition of Whyteleafe two weeks earlier was on the cards. Dulwich had other ideas though and on fourteen minutes they pulled themselves back into the game when Omari Coleman headed past Wheeler. On twenty nine minutes the scores were level when Dulwich's Rob French headed home from a corner. Early in the second half Chris Bangura and Stuart Maynard went close before Maynard restored Aylesbury's lead on sixty six minutes scoring from close range following good work from Silvestri and Joe. The Ducks looked comfortable with their lead until disaster struck with five minutes remaining when Dulwich substitute Charley Side scored with a powerful drive to secure his side a point. |
