United concluded their home fixtures with a hard fought victory of Tooting & Mitcham United at Buckingham Road.

Although their place in the top flight had been guaranteed there was still much to play for as the Ducks trio of strikers were vying for the coveted top scorer trophy.

Two goals from the enthusiastic Chris Bangura and one from veteran Steve Clark, his last ever in the semi-pro game, ensured the strike partners tied on 21 goals a piece, two short of eventual winner Dwight Marshall.
