Another Friendly On The List

Aylesbury United will travel to UCL side Wellingborough Town on Saturday August 6th as part of their pre-season schedule.

With the league campaign kicking off the following week on August 13th, the trip to the Dog & Duck Ground will be a late chance for Tony Joyce to run the rule over his side.

Two Further Friendlies Announced

Aylesbury have announced an additional two friendlies which are added to their pre-season schedule.

In another two away matches, the Ducks will once again kick off their campaign with a trip to Winslow United on Thursday 14th July.

Two days later Aylesbury will face Oxford City Nomads in a match to be played at Bisham Abbey.

Aylesbury Announce First Set of Friendlies

Aylesbury United have announced their first set of pre-season friendlies.

The Ducks will open their schedule with a trip to Stony Stratford Town, before a first ever visit to Thame United's brand new ASM Stadium on the 23rd July.

United take on landlords Leighton Town at 'home' before visiting United Counties League high flyers Newport Pagnell Town four days later.

League Two side Stevenage, one of manager Tony Joyce's former clubs and managed by former Duck Graham Westley, visit Bell Close on Wednesday 3rd August.

Presentation Night Review

Aylesbury United's well attended annual Presentation Night was held yesterday at Aylesbury College.

On an informal night speeches and thanks were given by 21st Century Ducks representative Brian Metcalfe, United chairman Graham Read, Vice-Chairman Ken Turnbull, and first team manager Tony Joyce.

Jack Wood was the big winner of the night, scooping two awards, whilst John Mulholland and Ben Baines rounded off the players awards.

Club secretary Steve Baker was rewarded for his hard work over the season by being awarded the Clubman of the Year honour.
