Aylesbury United In Vanuatu Link

Ariel Zeckler this afternoon revealed today that he has been working on a link between the club and the South Pacific country of Vanuatu. Recently Mr Zeckler has been an honourary counsel to the country, and during a visit there he came to meet local football officials. This resulted in the idea of a link between the two.

The immediate effect of the link will be the arrival in the UK of two of Vanuato's brightest prospects, to play for Aylesbury United this season. They are:

Koko Alec - An under-21 centre-back said to be a big prospect
Lorey Thompson - A goalscoring full international midfielder who is also said to be a good prospect.

The pair are set to arrive at the club in the next two weeks, and are said to be "very interested" at the idea of playing over here. The two are being nurtured and groomed by coaches in Vanuatu to ensure they are ready for the rigures of English football, something which will be very different from Vanuatu.

In the meantime the club are making a direct appeal for assistance firstly in paying for the tickets for the pair to get to the UK. Secondly, accomodation will be needed for the two. If anyone feels they can help out in any way, then get in contact with me and your message will be forwarded.
