Ariel Zeckler has returned to the club as Chairman, in a pleasing U-turn. Originally Mr Zeckler had intended to retire from the club due to his commitments with family and work. Indeed, he had invested in a Chelsea season ticket. However, following recent events, especially Bill Carroll's decision to withdraw his support, and after taking on board comments from fans, Mr Zeckler has made the decision to return and help the club once again.

Indeed, one reason for the change of heart was the enjoyment gained last season, which he was reminded of after glancing over this very website.

Mr Zeckler appreciates what a tough time the club is currently having, and will try to take a more hands on approach this season. He says it is important to get help the local community, as well as the supporters. If this is forthcoming then there should be no reason why the club can't progress, and why we cannot achieve something.

One of the first impacts since his return has been the Vanuatu link, which is the topic of the above story.
