So the waiting is over, pre-season has come to an end, and the big-kick takes place later today, as Aylesbury United make their first ever trip to Halesowen. Paul Curtis has named his squad (see last news item), and the team is likely to be similar to the one which faced Leighton Town last week.

As ever, it's crucial that you get to the match and support the team. Coach places are still available - priced ?14 for 21CD members, and ?17 for non-members, and leaving at 11.15am or 12.15pm whether you choose to use Players or Supporters coach.

For those who would prefer to drive to the match, directions are as follows:

-Take the A41 to Bicester and from there follow the signs to the M40. Get on the M40 Northbound and exit onto the M42 Westbound (heading towards the M5) at its conclusion. At the end of the M42, exit onto the M5 Northbound and leave this at Junction 3, taking the A456 towards Kidderminster. At the first roundabout, turn RIGHT onto the A459 towards Dudley, then at the next roundabout turn left again onto the A458 towards Stourbridge. At the first roundabout here, take the third exit into Old Hawne Lane, and the ground is 400 yards on the left.

Above all, enjoy today's game - give the team plenty of encouragement, make a whole load of noise, and have a great time!
