A mixed Ducks line-up romped to a comfortable 5-1 win over Buckingham Town this evening, with Craig Henney hitting a brace.

After a sterile majority of the first half, Aston Goss beat the Buckingham keeper to the ball to stab home the opener on 39 minutes.

Another returning forward Roni Joe created the second two minutes later when he chipped a delicate cross into Sam Swonnel's path and the midfielder buried his header.

After the break two sweet strikes from Henney - the first a rifling effort following a corner, the second a curler in off the post - sandwiched a well taken volley from the hosts to give them some consolation.

It was five on 86 minutes when good link-up play from Henney and Andy Shed saw the latter have a low shot parried, and an unnamed trialist followed up to roll into the empty net.

It was another good workout for the team, and a chance for the management to have a look at a few different players to those who featured at Waltham Forest.

Aylesbury team: Jack Sillitoe, 'Iggy', Justin Gordon, Carl Kavanagh, Nathan Liburd, Ross Taylor, Jamie O'Grady, Sam Swonnel, Roni Joe, Aston Goss, Danny Jones. Used subs: 'Manny', Andy Shed, Matt Butler, Craig Henney
