Aylesbury United News Story

Willenhall 1-2 Aylesbury

Goals from James Faulkner and Ross Taylor helped Aylesbury grind out a 2-1 win at Willenhall Town yesterday.

The first half was fairly even with both goalkeepers being called into action, although the home side had the majority of chances.

After the break it was Aylesbury who finally took the opportunities on offer when James Faulkner netted a penalty after a blatant handball, and then Ross Taylor doubled the lead.

Willenhall were given a late lifeline after an awful defensive mix-up let in Tyrone Barnett to score, but the Ducks hung on for the win.
