The club are delighted to announce that Buckingham Road will be playing host to Ajax FC later this month. The Dutch side will be on a three-day visit to the UK, playing QPR and Luton Town in the process.

Whilst on their tour they will be using the stadium for their training sessions, on the 20th, 21st, 22nd and 23rd July. This is another massive event for the club, and further recognition of the excellent facilities on offer at the stadium, following last year's similar hosting of the full England team.

Ajax are the current Dutch champions, having beaten PSV to the title last season, and have a talented squad managed by Ronald Koeman. Players who could well be gracing the Buckingham Road turf include Euro 2004 regulars Tomas Galasek (Czech Rebublic), Jonny Heitinga (Holland) and Zlaten Ibrahimovic (Sweden).

Exact times of the training sessions, and whether public access to Ajax's training will be permitted will be confirmed at a later date.
