Jets Come Crashing Down

A patient performance from Aylesbury saw them eventually inflict Oxhey Jets' second 4-0 defeat of the week.

At half time it looked like the Ducks were to be disappointed as the game had '0-0' written all over it, but a stirring last third resulted in four goals and could have been more by the end.

Just like Wednesday's game, the visitors spurned several good opportunities to take the lead prior to United opening the scoring.

It was Paul Edgeworth who popped up with the first goal just before the hour mark when he got on the end of Jamie O'Grady's cross.

When Lea Coulter made it two on 68 minutes with a thumping finish there was no way back for Jets, and their task was made yet harder by Warren Gladdy's red card late on.

A further goal from Coulter and O'Farrell's first in green and white completed the scoring in another good win, and with reinforcements for the thin squad due imminently it could yet be an exciting end to the season.
