Well Deserved Three Points at Chalfont

A storming second half helped Aylesbury United got off the mark for the season with a 3-1 win at Chalfont St. Peter.

Trailing at the interval, the Ducks laid seige to the Saints goal early in the second period, and with two goals in eight minutes had turned the game around, before a stoppage time strike added some gloss to the scoreline.

United gave a debut to Jason Blackett, and as the new-found focal point in Aylesbury's attack had a very impressive game - scoring one and superbly setting up another for Jack Wood soon afterwards.

Zack Reynolds scored the third in the 93rd minute, but in truth it had been a fairly comfortable second period for United who had overpowered their hosts. Indeed, had it not been for notable saves by the home custodian, or the woodwork, then the margin could have been even greater.

Next up for United is a trip to Surrey to face Chertsey Town.
