Nathan Frater's late winner for Dunstable Town ensured the Blues maintained their three-point gap at the top of the table with a 2-1 win over Chertsey Town. Daniel Alderton had given the second-bottom team a shock lead, but recently returned defender Danny Ryan levelled before the break and Frater won it eight minutes from time.

Rugby Town scored two second half goals to win 2-0 at Chalfont St. Peter and remain second in the table, with Barton Rovers, winnning by the same scoreline at home to bottom of the league Ashford Town (Mx), still in third.

Not far behind, Slough Town, Northwood and Daventry Town all lost ground.

After losing 3-2 at Dunstable on Tuesday, Slough suffered a second defeat of the week with a 2-1 home defeat by AFC Hayes where Ben Edwards had equalised Hayes's first half opener, only for the visitors to score the winner a minute later from the penalty spot.

Northwood were held to a 1-1 home draw by ten-man Aylesbury United, and Daventry Town also had to share the points in a 1-1 draw at St. Ives Town, though it took Luke Keen coming from the bench to level seven minutes from time.

Dubi Ogbonna's hat-trick for Kettering Town took his tally to six in three games since joining the Poppies, edging his side up to sixth in the league with a 3-1 win at Aylesbury FC, who remain without a league win since September.

Returning to winning ways were Royston Town, whose Kaan Fehmi scored twice in the first half on the way to a 2-1 win at Leighton Town, as were Egham Town who beat Marlow, themselves now without a league win in three games, 4-2 at Oak Tree Road courtesy of another brace from Ryan O'Toole.

Beaconsfield SYCOB came from behind to win at near neighbours Uxbridge, where an own goal had given Uxbridge a 25th minute lead, but the visitors scored goals from James McCluskey, Jon-Jo Bates and Kofi Lockhardt-Adams to win 3-1.

Lastly, North Greenford United's long wait for a league win goes on, but they took their second successive point with a 1-1 draw at Potters Bar Town.
