Aylesbury United News Story
Player unavailabilty and injuries took their toll as depleted Aylesbury were beaten 4-1 at Beaconsfield SYCOB.
The hosts took the lead from the penalty spot on 33 minutes, against the run of play, but an early second half goal doubled SYCOB's lead.
Aylesbury's already thin squad were then struck by injuries to Greg Williams and Paul Edgeworth, meaning Lee Bircham was brought on for his first appearance in over fifteen months since his horrific leg break, playing an unexpected full half hour.
Liam Smyth scored to give Aylesbury hope of a comeback, but two further goals in four minutes from the hosts meant an unhappy end to the the last away match of the season.
