After a poor week which saw them lose three times in all competitions, including a 3-2 defeat at Marlow on their last league outing, league leaders Kettering Town bounced back with a 2-1 win at struggling Beaconsfield SYCOB with Dubi Ogbonna and Alfie Taylor giving a commanding early lead before Lee Thompson pulled one back for the hosts.

SYCOB are now bottom of the pile as a result, with previous basement side AFC Hayes ending Aylesbury United's three game winning streak in the league with a 1-0 win at Bell Close, building on last weekend's first league win of the season.

Aylesbury FC's run was also ended, as they went down to a 3-1 loss at Uxbridge, who completed back to back league wins for the first time this season in the process, meaning Royston Town move back into 2nd position as Craig Hammond scored twice in their 3-1 home win over Marlow.

Potters Bar Town remain fourth despite losing a rollercoaster encounter 3-2 at Godalming Town. Darren Wheeler had given the G's an early lead, before Lamar Simpson just after the break and then James Ewington replied to give the Scholars a lead, only for Jack Mazzone and then a 90th minute Wheeler penalty to seal Godalming's win.

A first goal in Daventry Town colours for Mitchell Piggon and Josh O'Grady's goal two minutes into stoppage time completed a 2-0 win for against Leighton Town, with the Purple Army recovering having lost to AFC Hayes last weekend, and condeming the Reds to a fourth straight defeat and second bottom in the league.

Also down at the bottom, North Greenford United took an important three points as they beat surprise strugglers Bedford Town 2-0 at home. Eugene Asante scored on his debut, ironically against his former club, before Jack Hutchinson doubled the lead six minutes later.

Bedworth United lost a second successive game as they let a lead slip in losing 2-1 at home to fellow mid-table team Northwood, whilst Rugby Town claimed the biggest win of the day as David Kolodynski hit a brace in a 4-1 win at Egham Town.

Gaining a league place with their third home win of the season, Barton Rovers saw off Hanwell Town 3-1 at Sharpenhoe Road, with Keshi Anderson, Alex Condon and JJ Brown all on target for the hosts.

Lastly, early goals from Ben Seymour-Shove (19) and Alex Paine (8) for St. Ives Town and Chalfont St. Peter respectively saw honours even in the battle of the Saints, 1-1 the final score.
