Aylesbury bowed out of the Red Insure Cup at the hands of clinical Potters Bar Town, losing their quarter final 3-0 at The ASM Stadium.

On top for the first 20 minutes, the Ducks hit the bar and drew at least one good save from goalkeeper Ben Goode, but paid the price for their final third wastefulness as the visitors scored having won a corner kick from essentially their first attack.

After that point United struggled to get back into the game, and Town eventually killed off the tie when Aylesbury old boy Billy Adcock scored a superb volley seven minutes from time.

Substitute Jerry Maja then added a flattering third in stoppage time to leave the Ducks now solely focussed on their Southern League survival bid.
