Not A Good Saturday

Aylesbury dropped back into the relegation zone following a comprehensive home defeat by Royston Town, and Leighton Town's win at Potters Bar Town.

The Ducks put up a brave fight against their title-challenging visitors, but having started competitively fell behind to a controversial penalty awarded for handball midway through the first half.

After The Crows had clinically added a second almost immediately, it was plain sailing for the away team with Scott Bridges netting two second half goals to complete the rout and make it ten-games unbeaten for Royston.

Although bottom-side North Greenford lost heavily, Leighton's 1-0 win at Potters Bar lifts them above United and sets up Monday's meeting between the two as a crucial 'must win' game for both sides.
