Aylesbury United News Story
Aylesbury's home league campaign ended on something of a downer, as they were beaten 2-1 by Beaconsfield SYCOB at The ASM Stadium.
It was a deserved win for the visitors, whose striker Aaron Berry scored both goals - his second double of the week having also put two past Uxbridge two days earlier.
Having gone behind after 13 minutes, it was against the run of overall play that much-changed United levelled shortly before the break, Ollie Hogg's corner kick turned in at the near post for an own goal.
The second half was much the same, and only some heroic last-ditch defending and goalkeeping kept SYCOB at bay, before Berry eventually made the breakthrough eight minutes from time.
