Aylesbury's return to action having lost a week to the weather was a disastrous one, as they were beaten 5-0 on home turf by AFC Dunstable.

Following a minute's applause held to mark the first anniversary of the sad and untimely death of Aylesbury United coach Gary Hawksworth, the Ducks made the worst possible start to the game when Jermaine Hall netted after just two minutes. Despite creating plenty of chances United couldn't draw level before the ODs doubled the scoring nine minutes before the break.

Hall added his second, and 20th league goal of the season, to put the game to bed in the 68th minute after subtstitute Ollie Hogg had become the second Aylesbury player to hit the post as United continued to be frustrated in front of goal.

The closing stages saw Dunstable look threatening every time they attacked a demoralised Ducks' defence, and they added further goals through BJ Christie and Courtney Massay to complete a resounding win, and inflict Aylesbury's heaviest defeat of the season.
