Aylesbury ended their season in positive fashion as they won by the odd goal in seven after a thriller at Hartley Wintney.

Sonny French gave the Ducks the lead ten minutes before the interval with a well taken goal from the edge of the area, only for his namesake Jack French to level the game at 1-1 on the stroke of half time.

United made the perfect start to the second half with Aaron Berry scoring, but the hosts came back again through Paul Hodges this time with the equaliser.

This time parity lasted just four minutes before Ben Seaton restored the lead, and then Berry doubled his personal tally to make it 4-2.

Although 3rd placed Hartley Wintney pulled back another late consolation to make it 3-4, the game had already entered stoppages and Aylesbury were able to celebrate an excellent end to 2017/18.
