North Leigh Run Riot... Again

For the second time this season relegation-threatened North Leigh put four goals past the Ducks to win 4-2 at Eynsham Park.

Aylesbury started the match well, but missed a few key chances in the opening quarter before falling behind to Leigh's first attack of the game as Alfie Grant scored from a corner kick.

From there, the hosts' confidence grew and grew and by the interval they were 3-0 up. It was 'curse of the ex' as Tyriq Hunte thumped home the second on 36 minutes and Ben Barrett netted the third just before the break.

Hunte crowned his North Leigh debut with a second against his old club to make it 4-0 shortly into the second half.

Two late goals from Jack Wood and substitute Tre Mitford were scant consolation, and did little to mask a thoroughly disappointing afternoon.
