Aylesbury United have been drawn at home against Bishop’s Cleeve in the Second Round Qualifying of the Emirates FA Cup.

The exact date of the tie is to be confirmed, but as Chesham United were drawn away to Chertsey Town (should they come through their replay with Uxbridge tomorrow evening), it is likely to take place at The Meadow on Saturday 18 September.

The Gloucestershire-based Mitres came back from 2-0 down against our league opponents Kidlington to win 3-2 in First Round Qualifying on Saturday. They beat Clevedon Town 6-1 in the Extra Preliminary Round, before defeating Tring Athletic 2-0 in the Preliminary Round.

They currently sit seventh in the Uhlsport Hellenic League Premier, with four wins, one draw and one loss, and will be full of confidence having already beaten step four opposition in the cup.

The Ducks have overcome opposition from the Uhlsport Hellenic League Premier twice in the FA Cup this season, beating Fairford Town 2-0, and Brimscombe & Thrupp 8-0. This will be the seventh consecutive home tie for the Ducks in the competition.
