Aylesbury were soundly beaten by a strong looking Thurrock side, who looked dangerous every time they went forward. However, this was no excuse for some of the abysmal defending displayed by the home side.

On top for most of the match, the Essex side took the lead in the 18th minute, and double four minutes later. Aylesbury rallied and looked to be back in it at 2-1 down just before half-time. Sadly, the Ducks went on to gift their opponents another goal before the whistle.

Thurrock added another early in the 2nd half, before the home side rallied again and added to their tally. However, the unlikely comeback was not to be and it ended 4-2 to Thurrock.
