Aylesbury United News Story

Ex-Ducks In The News

Two ex-Ducks were in the news this weekend, and for very different reasons.

Wimbledon goalkeeper, and loanee to Aylesbury last season, Lee Worgan came on as a substitute for the Dons against Rotherham United, in only his 2nd senior appearance. Sadly nothing went right for the young keeper, as he conceded another goal to add to his side's woes, before being dismissed for deliberate handball, after gathering the ball in four-yards outside his area. Certainly doesn't sound like the Lee Worgan we came to know.

Meanwhile a much happier time was had by Lee Cook. Cook joined Watford from Aylesbury in 1999 and despite suffering a serious knee injury, is now a regular in their side. Yesterday he came off the substitute's bench to score the equalising goal, and his first for the club, against Nottingham Forest.
