Aylesbury 3 Billericay 2

Aylesbury United defied the odds at Buckingham Road this afternoon, to overcome a two-goal deficit against Billericay, with only the last 20 minutes remaining.
United, fielding five debutants in their side, found themselves two goals down, after two errors in defense, but fought back hard. Goals from Karl Ready (penalty), Chris Bangura and Danny Grieves turned the score around, and sent the 3 points to Bucks.

RSS Fixtures Released

The Ryman League fixture list has been released, and we now know who we'll be playing and when. Our first four matches are as follows: Billericay (h), Northwood (a), Bedford (a) and Hornchurch (a), a tough start to the season, but some points to be picked up there. Other matches of note see the Ducks travel to St Albans on Boxing Day, and Bedford visiting Buckingham Road on New Years Day. Incidentally, we will once more be finishing the season with a match against Maidenhead, as we visit the Berkshire side on the 1st May.
Up The Ducks Dead

In five days time the Up The Ducks name and everything associated with it will die completely. This means that the website will no longer be accessible, and neither will my uptheducks email addresses. Please e-mail me on luke@aylesburyunited.co.uk in the future.
Holiday

My computer problems are still ongoing, but I am now also going on holiday. I will be away from 12th-29th July, and therefore unable to answer any e-mails. When I get back I will do a full round-up of the home pre-season friendlies. If you are going, enjoy the games!
