Hitchin Town 1 Aylesbury 4

Aylesbury recovered from the setback from two recent defeats in stylish fashion with a 4-1 win at Hitchin Town.
Daniel French sent the Ducks on their way, firing home a rebounded Paul Edgeworth shot, before Liam Folds netted his first Aylesbury goal, gratefully smashing home Danny Gray's pass.
Another assist for Gray followed, as he set up Edgeworth to score United's third before the break.
The second half was more nervy, and Josh Sozzo predictably scored against his former club, but the match was made safe when Edgeworth grabbed his second late on.

Aylesbury Ladies 6 Southampton WFC 1

Aylesbury United Ladies romped to their biggest League win of the season, beating Southampton WFC 6-1 this afternoon.
They had to come from behind to do it though, with the southcoast side taking an early lead through a well taken goal.
It was Sally Green who equalised, sparking the beginning of her five-goal haul for the afternoon, heading in Leah Maloney's free-kick just before the interval.
Ellen Saville gave the Ducks the advantage, finishing off a neat move by firing home Sally Green's cut-back.
Sally Green then increased the tally further with another four goals - each the result of good team play from Ian Ausin's side, culminating in the excellent result the whole side can be proud of.
The Sunday Youth Team were also in action today, as their good recent form came to an end with a 3-0 home defeat to Berkhamsted Rangers.

Dunstable Town 2 Aylesbury 1

A dubious refereeing display, and a spirited fightback from Dunstable Town contributed to a dissappointing defeat for Aylesbury United at Creasey Park this afternoon.
Things had looked bright after Paul Edgeworth gave the Ducks an eleventh minute lead, but Dunstable equalised before half-time.
The winner was a real kick in the teeth for United, coming in the 83rd minute. Edgeworth had rounded the Dunstable goalkeeper, but apparently been fouled before he was able to slide the ball home. Instead of celebrating their own goal, the home side struck on the counter-attack.

Ducks Loan Out Young Talent

Aylesbury United have announced that they have loaned out 5 of their youth team players on a match by match basis to get some first team
experience.
Youth team captain Kyle Kilmartin has joined Ryman League Division 2 side Flackwell Heath where he will be hoping to make an impression and gain some valuable experience.
Having made his first team debut for the this season at the age of at 17, Kyle is one for the future, and it is hoped that going to Flackwell Heath will give him the regular games that will assist with his development.
Chalfont St Peter, also of the Ryman League, Division 2, have taken on board youth team goalkeeper Andy Brown, and striker Michael Stockton, who again impressed for the reserves recently.
Also going out on loan is highly rated defender Adam Ross and winger Aston Goss, who will both play for Abingdon United in the GLS Hellenic Premier League.
Both players have been in fantastic form for the youth team and the reserves this season, and as with all the players, this arrangement is viewed as another step up for the players to help with their development.
Wokingham & Embrook 1 Aylesbury Youth 3

Despite going to third placed Wokingham with 6 players out and having to change their system, AUFC Midweek youth team continued their superb run, with a fourth win on the trot to move up the table
On a windy night, United played the better football and after going close a few times, they where awarded a penalty, which was won and scored by Joe Wright. Even so, Wokingham drew back level five minutes before half time with a quick counter attack.
United came out in the second half, and controlled most of the half, playing some good football. They increased their lead with another penalty. A great run by Martin Kynsey, saw him brought down in the box, and Wright scored his second of the night. Kynsey then hit the bar with a superb strike from 25/30 yards.
United then wrapped up the game when subsitute Stockton scored from a tight angle about 18 yards out, and his quality goal finished off a good performance.
