Daniel Mead was the big winner in the 2005 End of Season Awards, scooping Supporters Player of the Year, the AFS Internet Player of the Year and joint Manager's Player of the Year at this evening's presentation evening.

Next Season's League Constitution

The FA has today announced the constitution of next season's Southern League Premier Division.
The teams in the League are to be as follows:
Aylesbury United
Banbury United
Bath City
Bedford Town
Chesham United
Chippenham Town
Cirencester Town
Evesham United
Gloucester City
Grantham Town
Halesowen Town
Hitchin Town
Kings Lynn
Maidenhead United
Mangotsfield United
Merthyr Tydfil
Northwood
Rugby United
Salisbury City
Team Bath
Tiverton Town
Yate Town
This presents United with six new teams to play next campaign. Aylesbury will renew acquaintances with Maidenhead United following their relegation from Conference South, whilst Evesham, Mangotsfield and Yate make the step up from the Western Division.
Switching from the Ryman League are Northwood and Salisbury City to complete an interesting looking Premier Division.

Presentation Evening

Who will win this season's Player of the Season award? Who will be crowned the first ever AFS Internet Player of the Season?
The only place you can find out first is at the 2004/05 Aylesbury United Presentation Evening.
This year's event will take place, as ever, in the Buckinghamshire Suite - this Friday 13th May starting at 8pm.
All fans are welcome to attend, with presentations due to be given to First Team, Reserves, Youth and Ladies.

Final League Positions

With the play-offs having been concluded today, the final league placings and promotion/relegation issues have been decided.
Congratulations to Histon, and ex-Ducks Leon Gutzmore and Erkan Okay, who won the Championship after a tight finish with Chippenham Town.
They will be joined in Conference 2 by Hednesford Town, who beat Chippenham 1-0 in today's play-off final. The other teams who contested the play-offs were Merthyr Tydfil and Bedford Town.
At the other end of the table commiserations to the four relegated sides - Hemel Hempstead Town, Dunstable Town, Solihull Borough and Stamford AFC.
The constitution for next season's Premier Division is expected to be announced on 11th May, with Aylesbury's old Isthmian counterparts Windsor & Eton and Slough Town rumoured to be joining the league.
Hodges To Feature for FA XI Side

Andrew Hodges has been selected to appear in an 'FA XI' side, as they help Middlesex Wanderers celebrate their Centenary with a match at Dagenham & Redbridge's Glyn Hopkin Stadium.
Also involved are former Aylesbury players Kevin Davies, Dean Cracknell, Kieran Knight and Paul Armstrong.
The team are being managed by Barnet's England National Game manager Paul Fairclough.
The game is this Sunday, the 8th May kick-off at 2pm. Admission is ?3 for adults and ?1 for concessions.

Our review of the 2004/05 season, encompassing another eventful twelve months in the history of Aylesbury United is now available.
Relieve the early season run that took the club up to third in the league, and the excellent progress made in the FA Trophy this year.
