Aylesbury 1 Hitchin Town 3
28Jan2006
The Ducks were comprehensively beaten 3-1 at home to Hitchin Town on a desperately disappointing afternoon at Buckingham Road.
Hitchin were three-goals up at half-time and the game was as good as over, thanks to strikes from French, Hicks and Sozzo.
United did produce something of of a fightback, and their improved second half showing was rewarded with a goal from Mark Bridge against his old side.
But the Ducks found it hard to break their opponents down and no further goals were forthcoming, and the long winless run continues.

Chippenham Town 1 Aylesbury 1
21Jan2006
Aylesbury became only the second team to take points away from Hardenhuish Park this season, after battling to a 1-1 draw against Chippenham Town.
It had looked for some time as though Neil Trebble would get his first win as manager, after Mark Bridge scored his first goal for the club, late in the first half.
But as expected Chippenham hit back strongly, and exerted plenty of second half pressure.
They couldn't find a way through until the 88th minute though, thanks to some dogged defending from the visitors, Sam Allison finally snatching the equaliser.
