Aylesbury United News Story
Woodford United 1-1 Aylesbury
9th February 2008
Andy Shed's late diving header rescued a deserved point for Aylesbury at struggling Woodford United.
The visitors had dominated the first half in terms of chances, but a lack of clinicism in front of goal cost them.
And Woodford took full advantage by taking the lead after the restart, ex-Duck Chris Jackson firing home at a corner.
The Ducks continued to struggle in front of goal, but they raised their game in the last minutes and equalised with ten remaining when Shed stooped to head home.
Despite a frantic end to the game in a surge of attacking pressure, Aylesbury had to make do with a point come full time.
Full report to follow.
