The Ducks run in the FA Trophy is over for another year, after the youngsters went down to a 2-0 defeat at Hornchurch. A goal in each half proved decisive, as the Essex side controlled much of the play, and will perhaps be disappointed with their own lack of clinicism in the final third.

That said however, nothing can be taken away from another battling performance from the Aylesbury side, who had their own chances, and were undone by a debatable penalty for the first goal, which was always going to make things difficult.
