Aylesbury were gunned down at Grays, but were massively unlucky to miss out on at least a point as they were largely the better team.
Grays rather arrogantly left their two top strikers out of their line-up, and after a fairly uneventful half, were made to pay as Aylesbury took the lead midway through the second period through Ryan Wiffin.
The introduction of hotshot Freddie Eastwood proved important, as Grays seemed to be transformed. They soon levelled, and then took the lead with three minutes remaining, to break the hearts of the Aylesbury faithful.
