After much deliberation, the match at Ford United was eventually played, but the Ducks will maybe be wishing it hadn't. On a pitch resembling a swamp in some places, the young Aylesbury side lost 4-1 against a well organised and hard-working Ford United.

The Ducks featured two new signings in Alvin Bubb's brother Byron, and Paul Edgeworth. The away side got off to the perfect start, as Matt Hayward netted inside three minutes.

Sadly, they couldn't build on their lead, and although it took time, Ford equalised later in the half.

In the second half, Aylesbury found themselves completely over-run, and Ford added another three goals to their tally to make it 4-1.
