Biography

Bryan "Bryn" Codd was a local lad who came into the first team at the beginning of the 1955/56 season after the so called 'Exodus of the Stars'.

He was a tireless left-half or inside-left from then until the end of 1957 when he was replaced by Jock Cunningham and couldn't force his way back into the side.

He moved to Oxford City for a time but returned in 1960 and then played from 1961 to 1963.

Sadly he subsequently died in a tragic skiing accident in Canada.
