Player Profile

Versatile player who started his career as a striker, but played in midfield or defence for Aylesbury. Had three spells at the club, and was at his best in the first, helping the club to promotion back to the Ryman Premier Division.

His second spell at the club was as a stopgap defender, brought in to help ease an injury crisis under Steve Cordery towards the end of 2002/03.

His third spell with the club was the biggest surprise, as in Summer 2003 Boothe returned as player/manager. An unfortunately poor start meant that his tenure was short lived, and he was replaced by Kevin Wilson in October 2003.

After leaving the Ducks he went on to have a successful playing spell with probably his final club, Yeading.
