Biography

Now known as Colin Scanlan

Versatile player who made the progression from Youth Team to Senior level and impressed with some excellent performances during the 2004/05 season.

Capable of filling many roles on the pitch, he was at his most effective on the right-side of midfield with his pace and crossing proving a dangerous weapon. Also featured in defence, and up front for the Reserve Team.

Scored a memorable goal on his full debut at Banbury United to level the match, charging in from the right touchline, beating his man and crashing the ball into the net.

Left the club in summer 2005 having been offered terms by Stevenage Borough, before a loan spell at Chesham United and a permanent transfer to Windsor & Eton.

Went on to play professional football in Hong Kong with HK Rangers and then Hong Kong FC, before moving back Ireland and his hometown club Limerick 37 FC.
