Popular defender who progressed from the Youth Team and made his First Team debut under Gary Phillips in 1999. Went on to be come a regular in the team, growing in stature and ability each season. Had his best year for the club under Steve Cordery in 2002/03, as he Danny became a key member of the team, and scored his first and only two goals for the club.

Struggled in 2003/04 with injuries and suspensions ruling him out for much of the season. The continued upheavel at the club hardly helped his cause, but he was still an important player when in the team.

Decided his future lied elsewhere during the summer of 2004, and moved to re-join former manager Cordery at up and coming Staines Town, along with a host of other ex-Ducks.
