Player Profile

Popular left-back who had four spells with Aylesbury, making over 200 appearances for the Ducks.

Initially Daniel was snapped up by the club following his release from Watford at the end of the 2002/03 season. Began his career at Aylesbury in the Reserve Team, but was soon given a chance in the First Team by Chris Boothe.

Had to overcome a number of difficulties to retain his place in the side, and left for a short spell when Kevin Wilson took over when he had a non-playing spell with Hitchin Town.

Returned to the club under Paul Curtis and flourished as a key member of the squad.

His good defensive work, coupled with his willingness and ability to get forward from full-back and use his excellent left-foot made him an important ingredient for the Ducks, and he was the only ever present team member in 2004/05.

His consistent displays and high regard all around the club have been rewarded with Supporter's Player of the Season awards in 2005 and 2007, AFS Internet Player of the Year in 2005, and Manager's Player of the Year in 2007.

Continued his ever-present run at the start of 2005/06, but playing in a struggling side he found himself victim of a clear out when new manager Neil Trebble took the reins, and moved on to Hemel Hempstead Town, before rejoining in mid-2006/07.
