Player Profile
Strong midfielder, likened by many to Patrick Vieira, signed by Steve Cordery in 2003 from his former club Hampton & Richmond Borough. Was influential during his time with the Ducks, although unfortunately found himself too many times in the referees notebook, including a number of stupid dismissals. One such dismissal cost us what may have been a big upset, as we lead Canvey Island 1-0, but fell away to a 1-6 defeat after Fiston's sending-off.
Was never likely to feature for the club after Cordery moved on, and Aldershot stepped in to sign him on loan at the start of 2003/04. Despite some good performances, the Shots weren't willing to match Aylesbury's asking price, and he returned to play in a game at Hayes.
Soon afterwards caused an uproar when he failed to arrive for an FA Cup match at Braintree, not wanting to make himself cup tied, and was subsequently sacked, although we held his registration. A move to Farnborough Town soon followed.
Became the first Aylesbury player to gain an international cap whilst playing for the club when he was called up to the England National XI (now known as 'England C') for a game against Belgium in February 2003.
