One of the success stories of Aylesbury United's Youth Development scheme, Lee Cook made the progression into Aylesbury's first team in 1999 and now plays for Premiership Fulham.

After becoming a first team regular with the Ducks, a string of impressive displays, earned himself a trial with Watford saw enough potential to sign him to a permanent deal.

Injury unfortunately hampered his progress, but after loan spells with York City and QPR he forced his way back into the reckoning, and established himself as a first team regular for the Hornets in 2003/04, before signing for his boyhood idols QPR in Summer 2004.

Over 100 appearances followed, during which time he won Young Player of the Year award in his first season at QPR, followed by both the Supporters' Player and Players' Player of the Year awards.

His good form attracted regular interest from Premiership clubs, and after almost a year of speculation Fulham finally concluded a deal to take 'Cookie' to the Premiership in July 2007.
