Biography
Paul was brought in during the 2003/04 season as the club's third manager in a four-month period between September and January. Holder of a UEFA 'A' Qualification, this was his first senior managerial position, having spent his entire coaching career at Northampton in various roles - including Director of Youth Team Development, Youth Team Manager, Reserve Team Manager, and a spell as Assistant Manager.
Had a long playing career as a right-sided defender and played in the Football League for Charlton, Northampton in two spells, as well as in non-league for Corby and Kettering.
Took over at an impossible stage of last season, but having had the Summer to re-shape the squad he recorded his first win in charge against Hitchin Town in the second match of 2004/05.
Although form improved, and the Ducks did spend a spell amongst the Top 5, things were unfortunately soon to take a decline and poor displays saw the Ducks crash out of the FA Cup and a dire 2-0 defeat to Hemel Hempstead spelled the end - with Curtis resigning days later.
