Winger who played for the club for 3 seasons following his release by Northampton Town in 1983.

Joined Watford in 1973, turning professional at 17 and making his Football League debut a year later against Stockport County, which Watford won 2-0, Peter making one of the goals. In all he spent 4 years at Vicarage Road making some 70 appearances for the Hornets and scoring 10 goals before moving South West to Torquay, for a fee of £5000.

Four very enjoyable seasons were had at Plainmoor where he notched up some 120 first team games and added another 30 goals to his tally. In 1980/81 season the fans voted him their Player of the Year.

1981 saw Peter on the move again, for a similar £5000 fee to Northampton, and in the two seasons was virtually ever present making 75 appearances and netting a further 5 goals.

Peter made a total of 265 first team games at Football League level.

After being discarded at the end of the season by Northampton, both Wealdstone and Nuneaton turned him down, and without doubt thier loss was Aylesbury's gain.
