Biography
Midfielder who re-joined the club in June 2006. He previously had a brief stint at the start of the previous season following a playing spell in Australia, but left within two months citing non-playing commitments.
Sam came through the youth ranks at Watford and went on to become the Hornets' reserve team captain.
Managed just two first team appearances for Watford though before his release, and after trials at Wycombe Wanderers and Yeovil, he spent a season with Cambridge City before his time down under.
Won both Player's and Manager's Player of the Year at the 2008 presentation evening.
