Player Profile
Right-back Simon Sweeney joined the club from Hemel Hempstead Town in March 2009 and immediately made the right-back berth his own.
Simon made his 100th appearance for the Rebels in March 2011, and netted his first goal against Cambridge City in February 2011.
Sweeney has also played for Chesham and AFC Wimbledon. He subsequently joined Hemel Hempstead Town, linking up again with Steve Bateman. The defender created history when he moved from Chesham to AFC Wimbledon, becoming the first AFC Wimbledon player to be signed for a transfer fee.
