Biography
A prolific striker who joined the Ducks from Bedford Town in summer 2011, Stacey Field went on to score 108 goals for the club and holds the record for number of Aylesbury United hat-tricks. He became the first player to find the net 30 times in his debut season since Gary Crawshaw in 1999, followed that up with 45 goals the next, and was United's leading goalscorer in each of his seasons with the Ducks.
Stacey's scoring exploits saw him net eight hat-tricks, go on an incredible run of scoring in 8 successive matches, and hit some outrageous goals including a strike from the halfway line at Hadley, whilst his extra time goal won Aylesbury the Premier Division Cup Final in 2013.
Before the Ducks, he came through the ranks at Bedford Town, and also spent short spells on 'dual registration' terms with AFC Kempston Rovers, Thame United and Winslow United.
Brought an end to his 5-year association with Aylesbury in summer 2016 with a return to AFC Kempston, where former Ducks boss Tony Joyce was part of the management team.
Following spells with New Bradwell St Peter and Bovingdon, Stacey then moved to Berkhamsted and started the 2017/18 season in great form only for a serious injury to rule him out of the entire second half of Berko's eventual promotion winning campaign.
