Staff Profile

Popular manager, who also made two cameo playing appearances, who arrived at the club as Assistant Manager to Paul Curtis in January 2004.

Within nine months he was appointed Caretaker Manager following Curtis' resignation, before being given the job on a full-time basis.

Improved results soon followed, and he lead a drive up the League table including a number of high profile wins against high placed sides and a good run in the FA Trophy, including victory at Forest Green Rovers.

The following season he was forced to work with a reduced budget, and despite progressing to the 4th Qualifying Round in the FA Cup, League results inevitibly faltered, and after a further vast budget cut in December 2005 Nicholls called time on his Aylesbury career.

Danny was formerly a coach at Northampton Town, where he met Paul Curtis, and had a successful playing career in non-league football with clubs such as Boreham Wood and Bedford Town.

After a spell at Hemel Hempstead Town, he is now working as coach at Corby Town.
